About us
The University of Zadar (Lat. Universitas Studiorum Iadertina) is the oldest university in Croatia, having been founded in 1396, and thus one of the oldest institutions of tertiary education in Europe. Its current incarnation dates from 2002, and includes 27 departments.
In 2022, the Department of Classical Philology will celebrate 65 years since its foundation in 1957. Please join us in celebrating this special anniversary through our second international academic conference Natales grate numeras? to be held on May 27-28, 2022.
